The picture basically tells how I block my shawls. That's my spare mattress. (Sorry if you're ever staying at my place, you might find needles on your bed.)
It feels like I've been knitting that shawl for ages and now that it's finally ready it's starting to look rather dull. Is it really even anything speacial? I'm really struggling giving the shawl actual name. It had a name but now it doesn't seem to suit it anymore. There they are, all of three knitted shawls of the latest version of that shawl. All of those shawls are made of different yarns. The purple and pink are the most similar yarns, but the three coloured one has two different types of yarn in it. I had to knit the pink shawl to make sure the pattern was really done and there wasn't anymore mistakes in the charts after knitting the purple/black shawl. The three coloured shawl is just made from leftover yarns, but in my opinion the yarns really matched together well. The lightest coloured violet even has sequins (This word always reminds me too much about Tyler Seguin) in it. I kind of hate that yarn, but that's what you get when you by cheap yarn on sale.
But seriously there now are three shawls knitted with this same pattern and all of them are kind of from the same colour family, I don't think my mum has time to use them all. She really has too many shawls I've knitted for her... No more shawls as christmas present for her...
