Hi! I am a knitter and hopefully one dayI can call myself a knitting pattern designer. I thought I would give try to blogging as well. I've never blogged about knitting so this is a new experience for me. So be patient as I learn how to blog my thoughts about my knitting and pattern designing projects.

Right now I'm knitting a swatch for a pattern I'm currently designing. It's going to be shawl quite simple shawl with most of it knitted with the main colour.  It's going to be triangle shaped and mostly knitted with garter stitches. Nothing too difficult, but something nice and warm to wrap around your neck in the snowy winter.

That's definitely not the only project currently on my needles as I always seem to be making multiple projects at the same time. Let's not talk about the fact that I don't always finish them all, but to be honest, who does anyways?

So the other major thing I'm knitting right now is the final version of a lace shawl pattern that's been a designing stage for at least a year. You can see it in the picture.(Good idea to take pictures on top of dusty computer, right?) I've knitted several versions of it already, but I promise this will be the last one. Why do I need to make that promise? Well, the only person I'm knitting lace shawls for is my mother and she really doesn't need anymore purple or pink shawls, at least not knitted with the same pattern.

So this current pattern I'm knitting a swatch for is going to be a shawl for me. The colours I prefer to use a rather monotonic, compared to nice purple and petrol coloured shawls I can knit for my mother, so this shawl will be rather rather dark coloured. Well, it will be grey to be exact, but more of that later...
